Synopsis

Zeke

Being President of a frat house means everything is on my shoulders.
Idiot brothers, epic pranks, a list of organizational duties long enough to make my eyes bleed.
None of it fazes me.
But senior year is almost over, and I’m ready to take a step back.
Until the hazing rumors start.
I might not know where they’re coming from, but I know they’re total BS.
Now, instead of dialing back the stress, we’ve broken the number one rule on the row: Don’t get the dean’s attention.
I need to find out who’s driving the lies.
And all evidence points to one person.

Charles

I never wanted to become Kappa President.
The appointment was made easier, though, when none other than Zeke Ariston took over Sigma house. I’ve always been … drawn to him. Fascinated.
And maybe a little attracted too.
Pity I’ve never been more than an afterthought to him.
But when rumors start to circulate about hazing, and the sources lead back to my house, it puts me square on Zeke’s radar.
I want to help him get to the bottom of it all.
And with his attention finally on me, I want to tell him how I feel.

The door to Hush Hush creaks as I open it, then pause and strain my ears. A noise. Fuck. Breathing, and the soft scuff of feet.

Sure, the one time my nerves took a back seat and I messaged him, our hookup is going to be foiled.

Gut sinking, I’m about to back out of the room when a familiar voice fills the darkness.

“That you?”

He’s here.

He’s here first.

In all the times we’ve done this, I’ve always been the one waiting for him.

I swallow back my sudden excitement as I duck inside and close the door. Even though I’m confident with where I’m going, it’s harder to find knowing Zeke is already there waiting.

“It’s me,” I whisper, and strong hands grasp my outstretched arms. He tugs me in so my body collides with his, and a soft oomph puffs from my lips.

His gravelly hum by my ear gives away that he’s smiling. “You messaged me.”

“You said—”

“I did. And I meant it.” He releases his hold to wrap his arms around me. Warm, big hands splay over my back, and I lean in to inhale the smell of chlorine. It centers me and gives my heart that extra incentive to keep beating. “You looked so stressed today.”

I’m rendered speechless by that. We never talk about real life here, not specifics, anyway. Nothing that can remind ourselves of the person we’re actually with. No names, no details. Just a nameless body in the dark. This is all supposed to be a quick transaction before we go back to our lives and pretend this never happened. Like always.

But something’s … off.

Zeke pushes his thigh between my legs, and the contact wakes my cock up. His lips brush my ear as one of his big hands palms my ass, holding me tighter against him. I can’t place what’s changed, but something in the way he’s touching me feels different.

“I was,” I say, only just remembering to answer him. “Everything going on is … a lot.”

“I’ll say.” His voice is warm and soft, like it usually is when we’re here together. The slow, deep tone always sends tremors through me, and tonight is the same.

Instead of fighting them, I let it happen, grinding my cock into his leg as I run my hands over his chest. I’ve seen him shirtless so many times but never while I’ve been touching him. I’d retake my fucking LSATs to have that privilege. To trace his tattoos with my fingertips.

Zeke leans down to suck a spot under my ear, and I tilt my head right back so he has access. His mouth is right there on my skin, and all it would take is a short turn to the left for our mouths to connect. For us to be kissing. Could I do it this time? Have things changed that much?

Before I can do it, Zeke spins us and presses me into the wall. His body blankets mine, one hand lightly cupping my jaw while the other slowly runs from my chest to my hip. He lets out a heavy exhale, and I have no idea what he’s groping when I don’t have muscles like his.

“So tense … Relax …” he murmurs.

“Not exactly easy.”

“Isn’t that what I’m here to help with?”

I tug him closer. “You are good at it.”

“Exactly. Focus on that.”

I’m trying, but while Zeke wrings me out in amazing ways, being with him has me coiled so tight I could burst.

Relax, Chuck.”

I gasp. “Y-you said my name.”

“You said my name last time. And we talked about it yesterday. I can’t separate it now, and it’s totally your fault.”

“So … you’re, umm, picturing me? Right now?”

His chuckle is husky. “I’ll go you one better.” He shifts, and before I know what he’s doing, a light bursts between us.

I flinch at the sudden burn in my eyes, and when my vision clears, I blink up at him. His intense gray stare is trained on me, and he’s placed his phone on the shelf beside us, giving everything sharp shadows that make his face look thinner and harsher. It makes his eyes more intense.

My knees feel weak.

His lips hitch up on one side. “Hi.”

Synopsis

TRAV

I remember the first time I met Dylan Rodriguez. It was one sweaty encounter I’ll never forget.

The second time we met, he arrested me. I can still see the hot scowl on his beautiful face as he slapped handcuffs on me and realized I was … me.

Dylan’s main goal in life is to forget he ever met me. My goal is to make him mine.

Turns out, I’m better at this game than he is.

DYLAN

When my law enforcement career falls to pieces in front of my own eyes, I don’t know who I can trust.

I have nowhere to go. No one to turn to.

Asking Trav for help is a last resort, but I’m desperate.

If he can’t get me out of this mess, I may as well turn myself over to the guys hunting me down.

I’m not sure which will be more difficult: protecting my life or my heart.

Because when it comes to love, my heart wants what my brain doesn’t. It wants Travis West.

Excerpt

I should give motivational speeches. Three ways to tank your career with one botched raid.

One: Sleep with your target.

Two: Find absolutely no evidence at the scene.

And three: Sleep with your fucking target.

As I stare into the interrogation room behind a two-way mirror at the man who, in my own words, fucks like a god, I want to recoil in embarrassment and shame.

Definition of irony: Newly promoted DEA agent has sex with drug smuggler.

“He’s asking for you,” Special Agent Walker says. “He knows you by name.”

And thanks to the file I was given, I know his full name. Travis West.

I’m regretting giving him my name. Then he wouldn’t be able to ask for me.

I should’ve walked away the minute he pulled his amazing cock out of my ass. No names. No words needed.

“Do you know him?” Walker asks.

Intimately. “We met once. At a bar.” Where he made me come so hard I almost blacked out. I’m not telling my senior officer that.

“Well, he’s the only one who hasn’t lawyered up, but he’s refusing to speak to anyone but you.”

I grunt. How am I supposed to go in there and act like I haven’t had his dick inside me? Worse yet, how am I supposed to stop him from spilling our history, however brief, while I’m questioning him?

My boss will be watching.

Maybe if we’d found the drugs, my unwitting tryst with a suspect could be forgiven. But that ship was clean. How could I have been so wrong when I was convinced that Jason Carter was one of the biggest drug lords in the US with ties to Mexican cartels.

I want to tell my boss I won’t get any information from interrogating Trav, but I already know what his response will be. You don’t know until you try.

Then Trav glances up and smiles at his reflection in the glass, but I know he’s actually directing it at me. Like he knows I’m about to cave.

“Okay. I’m going in.” And on my way, I’m making a new rule for myself: No more random, anonymous hookups.

I enter the interrogation room and try to stay passive, but his sexy voice immediately throws me off kilter. Not because of the deep rumble of his tone, but because of what he says.

“Do you think you could take these off?” He lifts his hands where he’s cuffed to the table by a chain. “I’m not used to handcuffs being around my wrists.”

Fucker. He knows what he’s doing. Because now all I can picture is him fucking me while I’m restrained.

“Sure.” I guess I’ve decided to play good cop. Passive and friendly, but not flirty.

I release him, and he rubs his wrists like they’re so sore.

“You weren’t cuffed for that long.”

“I know, but I’ve seen people do that in movies.” He leans back in his seat. “So how have you been? I didn’t think I was going to see you again.”

“This isn’t a social chat. I need you to tell me everything you know.”

“Find any drugs yet?” That tiny twitch of his lips tells me he’s in on the operation. He knows what’s what.

“What makes you think we’re looking for drugs?”

“You’re the Drug Enforcement Administration. I’d hope you were looking for drugs, or I have to tell you, you might not be very good at your job.”

“But I’m sure you’re good at yours. What is your job exactly?”

“Ooh, smooth interrogation tactic there, Dylan.”

“My name is Agent Rodriguez.” My stupid voice cracks on my last name, making it basically unintelligible.

“What’s that? Rogue-riguez? That sounds promising.” He leans forward. “You willing to go rogue to get the answers you want?”

Rodriguez. And no. I’m sure I could cut a deal for you and your friends, though … if you cooperate. You were the muscle, right? Hired to protect the cargo without actually knowing what you were protecting?”

“Are you implying I’m a dumbass who’s unaware of my surroundings?”

Now I lean in, locking eyes with him across the table. “Are you telling me you know more than you’re letting on?”

Trav smiles. “Damn. Your interrogation skills really are on point. I’m impressed.”

“Impressed enough to tell me what you know?”

“I know lots of things. Useless trivia, mostly. Do you like trivia nights? There’s a really laid-back bar I like to go to when they have trivia. It’s called the Aqua. You ever been?”

The Aqua doesn’t do trivia nights. I should know. It’s where he dicked me out in a bathroom stall.

“Can’t say that I have.”

It’s not like the other guys in my department are unaware that I’m gay, but I like to keep my private life, well, private at work. They all know, but I don’t want them to know details—like where I frequent. I get the feeling that was Trav’s way of gauging whether I’m out or not, so I shut him down. Maybe then he won’t hint at what happened between us.

My job depends on that staying quiet.

Trav eyes me, and I get the impression he’s trying to figure out if I’m denying it for the sake of denying it or if I’m closeted.

Trav glances at his watch and then back at me. “I want to cut a deal.”

Synopsis

Griff

Walking away from my marriage was my idea of a fresh start.

My kid is in college, my ex-wife and I are on good terms … but being single in my forties is a world different to being single in my teens.

But my best friend, Heath, has my back like he always does and is ready to take me out and show me how the bachelor life is done.

He was never supposed to show me literally.

After we wake up in bed together, I can’t stop looking at him differently, and one thing becomes abundantly clear.

I talk a big talk about us only being friends, but my platonic rulebook has gone out the window.

Heath

When my best friend comes to me for help post-divorce, I’m only too happy to impart wisdom on him.

After all, Griffin isn’t my type, but even I can tell he’s a complete lumbersnack. Good with his hands, kind eyes, and a killer smile. All the guys and gals are gonna eat him alive.

But the more time we spend together, the less “not my type” he becomes. I’m the one who can’t get enough of him.

Neither of us are interested in a relationship, so what’s a little fun between friends?

“Want to take off your shirt before we get started?”

“Sure.” He strips out of it and settles back into the chair again, but not before I get an eyeful of back muscles.

“You’re checking me out again,” he says.

“I told you you’re not going to have a problem tomorrow night.”

He laughs softly while I take off my shirt just in case, then pull on the gloves and get to it. I work in silence for a couple of minutes, just while I get the hang of everything.

“Do you remember the rules I gave you?” I ask.

He hums. “No names. No bringing anyone home.”

“Well done.”

“I feel like an immature kid for needing rules again.”

“Don’t.” I don’t like when he doubts himself. “You know your weaknesses and you’re working with them. That’s a good thing.”

“Well, let’s hope. Otherwise this time next week I could be in a relationship again.”

We both laugh, but mine is forced. I’m going to have to keep a closer eye on him than I thought.

“No strings, Griff,” I remind him. “Harmless fun. We’re living the bachelor life together.”

“I’m going to fuck all of this up, aren’t I?”

“Not if you don’t want to.”

But even saying that, I’m not sure. He has a big heart, and when it comes to people he loves, he’s committed. Poppy, Felix, me. He’s always done whatever will make us happy, and I just know if he finds someone kind and easy to talk to tomorrow night, he will ask for a name and number.

There’s a chance they won’t give it of course.

But they’d be an idiot if they didn’t.

When I think I have most of his hair covered, I start to massage it in, rubbing my fingers into his scalp. His head relaxes back into my grip as a rumbly moan catches in his throat, and while I know it’s only because of the massage, that sound piques my interest. It’s low and raw and fucked if my cock gets the memo who it is that made the sound.

“Harder … yeah,” he mutters. “That feels so good.”

I have to close my eyes for a moment.

The massage, he means the massage, obviously.

But even as I remind myself of that fact, I’m picturing Griff naked in his kitchen again, cock in hand, murmuring about how good it feels.

Sweet fucking Jesus, where are these thoughts coming from?

“Why are you breathing like that?” he asks, snapping me out of my thoughts.

“Like what?”

“All … heavy …”

Ah, fuck, he’s right. I could lie, but he knows me too well for that. “Because you have a filthy fucking mouth, Griff.”

“What?”

I pitch my voice. “Oh, baby, that feels so good. Rub me harder, Heath. Get in there.”

His answering laugh is loud. “What?”

“Your filthy talk and moaning like a porn star. Geez, man, I’m only human.”

“You’re turned on?”

I shift around to the front of him, continuing to massage in the dye. “What do you think?”

His stare drops to my shorts, where I’m sure the hard outline of my cock is visible. I’m so focused on his hair and not watching his face in an attempt to read his thoughts, that I don’t notice when he reaches up.

He skims over my V with the back of his finger and a spear of arousal shoots down deep in my gut. My abs tense and I suck in a breath, caught off guard at just how good that felt.

“Sorry.” His voice is husky. “Your skin looked … warm.”

“Warm?”

He swallows. “It’s been a really long time.”

Our eyes lock as my hands pause and I read the uncertainty in his face as easily as my own thoughts.

What if we crossed that line … just once?

It would be easy. He’s hot, he’s available, and I know him better than anyone in the world. If there was ever a man I could read perfectly in bed, could drive out of his mind with want, it’d be Griff.

It would be a disaster.

Cover Reveal: Wicked Flame by Ella Frank

Wicked Flame, the sizzling hot conclusion to the Chicago Heat Duet, set in the beloved Chicagoverse from USA Today bestselling author Ella Frank is coming May 24th and we have the delicious cover!

Jameson

Life is hard. I learned that at an early age growing up on the South Side of Chicago. I accepted it, even came to expect it. With a sister who was a constant source of worry, and a track record of losing anyone even remotely close to me, trouble seemed to follow me no matter where I turned.

Some people were born lucky. I was just born.

That’s what I used to believe, anyway, until GQ. The gorgeous guy in the fancy clothes who for some reason decided to look twice at me. He gave me a place to call my own, a space to feel safe, and he made me believe in the impossible—that love was more than just a four-letter word.

Ryan

Life is unexpected. I learned that just recently when I walked into a bar on the South Side and found the love of my life—Jameson Clarke.

He’s everything I’ve always wanted, and yet somehow even better than I imagined. He’s brave, brash, protective of those he loves, and under all that bravado is a vulnerability that calls to my very soul.

Jameson’s a storm cloud, but he thinks I’m the sun. If that’s true, then I’m determined to break through the shadows of his past and steal his heart the way he’s stolen mine.

Synopsis

Bro big or bro home.

Robbie

As social chair of Sigma Beta Psi, I’m the life of the party. It’s what I’m known for, and if it’s not fun, I’m not interested, simple as that.

I’m not someone who overthinks.

So when one of my brothers hooks up with a dude from another frat house, it catches me off guard when I can’t stop thinking about them … together.

There’s only one way for me to get this obsession out of my head and that’s by jumping in with both feet and putting it into practice.

The problem is, the one guy who’s up for the ride, is the last one I’d expect.

Brandon

Being risk manager of a frat house is nobody’s idea of a good time. My brothers get annoyed when I put a damper on their plans, and wrangling drunken frat brothers isn’t how I pictured my Saturday nights of senior year.

I’m bored.

In a rut.

Study, frat duties, planning for the future.

When is it my turn to let loose for a moment?

So when my dumb-as-bricks frat bro is scoping out the house for a little experimenting fun, I throw out the offer like it isn’t the most nerve-wracking thing I’ve ever considered.

I never imagined I’d actually enjoy it.

Excerpt

Brandon wants to keep the experimenting just between us, and I can’t say I hate the idea, but I’m struggling to agree.

It’s not that I don’t want to answer him; it’s the how that’s the problem. I won’t walk away from this thing, so I’m gonna say yes, but how do we work out a time frame on it? Cross off his imaginary list and then move on? Butt sex, then bail? Get a five-star rating on our BJ skills?

We’re gonna have to talk and shit.

I always tell my bros that open communication is key, and look at me not taking my own advice. It’s different when it’s your brother and not a chick though. Girls come and go, brotherhood is forever.

Look who’s pulling up his big-boy panties and asking his bro to go exclusive with him.

Is it hot in here?

The house is full when I get there. Constant energy and noise wraps around me like a sweaty football jersey, and just like when I take the field for a game, I’m hit with a surge of love for my life.

Does this get any better? I’m gonna go with a no.

And instead of viewing this thing with Brandon as a scary unknown, I need to jump in like I do with everything else. Trading mind-blowing orgasms should only ever be viewed as a good thing—I’ll put it in the Sigma rule book if I have to—so no more holding back.

I catch him on the way to the war room—literally. The second he goes to walk by, I hook my arm around his waist and pull him into the empty laundry.

“What are you—”

I cut him off with my mouth. As we kiss, I back him into the wall, crowding him up against it and bending my knees so he doesn’t hurt his neck. Fuck, I’ve missed his mouth.

I keep waiting for this feeling to dull, for the way he kisses to stop making my head spin, to be able to look at him without wanting to do filthy things to his body. But it’s not all physical either. I like Brandon. As a friend, as a person, as a sexy little nurse.

His mouth breaks from mine, and his puffy lips make me groan.

“What …” He swallows. “I mean, hey.”

“Hey.” I grip his jaw and pull his mouth open before kissing him again. And he must get as lost in it as I do because his arms wrap around my neck, and he pulls me tight against him. Our cocks line up with delicious friction, but for once, I’m not in a hurry to move things along. I wanna kiss, and touch, and worship this sexy guy with everything I have to give him.

“Shit!” He jerks away from me but doesn’t get far. “The meeting.”

“They won’t start without us.” I pull his earlobe between my teeth.

“No, you idiot.” Brandon pushes my chest and I back up but don’t let him go. “They’re going to take one look at us and know we were kissing.”

“And?”

He freezes.

Pulls back to study my face.

“Seriously?”

I shrug. “Does it matter? They’re not going to judge us for liking some D.”

“No, but they might judge us for liking each other’s. You really want to deal with all the dumbass jokes and constant ribbing?”

“True. But then we wouldn’t have to sneak around anymore. We can hook up whenever we like. Be as loud as we want.”

Brandon rubs his thumb over my bottom lip. “I dunno, dude. I’m kinda looking forward to gagging you.”

“Someone’s kinky.”

Someone’s looking for a way to finally shut you up.”

I kiss him again. A quick one. Just because. Then I put on a cheesy porn voice. “Baby, I’m gonna make all your fantasies come true.”

He laughs and shoulder checks me as he passes. “Let’s get this meeting out of the way. I kinda hate that you gave me a hard-on before we got started.”

He’s about to leave when I remember what I was supposed to talk to him about. My fingers circle his wrist.

“I wanna do it.”

“What?”

“Just us.”

Brandon stares at me for a moment, like he’s sorting through our options and weighing up whether it’s what he wants. I have a whole second anxiety spike thinking he’s about to change his mind, when his face splits into a smile. “Yeah?”

I point to my dick. “The dragon likes you. Who am I to argue?”

“Thank fuck one of you has good taste.”

Before I let him go, I reach up to fix where his hair got all rumpled during our make-out session. His eyes meet mine, and we share a look that feels heavy and light all at once.

“Ah, thanks …” he says.

“Got your back, bro.” I let him go.

And don’t mention the epic stubble scrape blooming around his mouth.

Oops.

Cover Reveal: Wicked Heat by Ella Frank

Image preview
Wicked Heat, an all-new spicy mm romance, and the first book in the
Chicago Heat Series from USA Today bestselling author Ella Frank, is
coming February 7th and we have the incredible cover!

If you love grumpy heroes, smokin’ hot firefighters, opposites attract and all
the steam, don’t miss Wicked Heat!

Ryan
Kind, caring, and protective. Those are the three qualities I’m looking for when it comes
to my dream man. In a city as big as Chicago, you wouldn’t think he would be that hard
to find, right?
Wrong.
Sure, my boss found a super-sexy detective and my best friend fell madly in love with
the most eligible bachelor around. But the only person I’ve met recently is a broody bad
boy who saved me at a sketchy pub.
He’s grumpy, rude, and honestly, not that likeable at all. Hardly my “dream” guy.
So why can’t I stop thinking about him?

Jameson
I don’t do friendships. I don’t do relationships either. The very last thing I’m looking for in
life is to fall in love and live happily ever after.
So saving some rich guy from losing his wallet is the last thing I want to do on a Friday
night. Especially when he looks like someone who just stepped off the cover of GQ.
Fate seems to have other ideas, though, and every time I turn around, he’s there.
A wicked heat simmers between us, threatening to ignite, and though I’ve been trained
to put out the flames, I can’t help but think: What’s the worst that could happen if I let
this desire burn out of control?

Cover Reveal : No Take Backs by Becca Seymour

thumbnail_No take backs_frontcover_01_rgbBLURB

Some things you can’t take back.

If you say those words, get caught glancing at his bulge, or share a heated kiss, it’s game over. The “no take backs” rule strikes, and there’s no way you can backtrack.

That’s the way it’s always been with me and Nate Griffin, my old best friend who thought he could change the rules.

It doesn’t matter that time and distance have pulled us apart. I’ve finally figured myself out and yanked my head out of my backside. Now, if only I can drag myself out of the closet and be the man I want to be for Nate…

But I’m a pro basketball player who has no desire to be a poster boy. Not only that, Nate and I don’t even live in the same country.

Nate, big-hearted guy he is, takes it all in his stride, and I can’t help but wonder if just maybe he’s too good for me. But hell if I can resist him.

It all boils down to: Do I want to take anything back when it comes to Nate Griffin?

Genre: M/M College Sports Romance

Trope: Friends to lovers, secret relationship

Synopsis

WESTLY

The fall from NHL superstar to domestic disaster was swift and painful. When I became the legal guardian of my five younger siblings, I had no idea what I was doing.

One year later, I’m still lost.

Coaching CU’s hockey team might be the only thing I’m excelling at. But when our star forward is failing math, I have to do what it takes to keep him on the team. Even if it’s going head-to-head with Jasper Eckstein.

One minute I’m confronting the notorious hockey-hating professor, and the next I’m agreeing to be his date to his twenty-year high school reunion.

I don’t know how that happened.

JASPER

My rules are simple. I don’t give extra credit. Ever. No matter how entitled jocks think they are, I refuse to give them special treatment.

It’s not because I hate them. It’s not because a hockey player broke my nose in high school.

It’s fair.

But when Westly Dalton bursts into my office like a hurricane, all my principles fly out the window.

Suddenly I’m giving extra credit.

And I have a date to my reunion.

After one explosive night together, I want more, but his home life is a mess, and I don’t want to get in the way. If all we can have is quick thrills, I’m okay with that.

It’s not like I could ever fall for a jock.

Excerpt

I head for the bathroom, but it’s empty when I get there. I glance down the long hall toward an exit, but I doubt Jasper would leave without telling me.

To my right, there’s a corner, and as I turn it, I find Jasper standing in the middle of a corridor with lockers lining either side.

He reaches out and runs his hand over the cool metal, and when I get to him, he looks like he’s writing an invisible word. “This was my locker, but it’s … fixed now.”

“Fixed?”

“The f word was carved right here. And I don’t mean ‘fuck.’” He does the motion again and then drops his hand. “Why did I think I could come to this reunion? Why did I think anything would be different simply because I look like this now?” He gestures to himself.

“Because you were under the impression they hated you for your looks and the fact you were gay when I think the real reason they hated you and picked on you is because they could.”

He turns to me. “What do you mean?”

“I’m not going to give you the Disney special where I tell you they were jealous of your brain in any way, because I have to be honest, us hockey players don’t care about brains. Or having them.”

“I’ve noticed,” Jasper says dryly.

“But everyone knows the easiest way to feel better about yourself is to put other people down. And you were an easy target. It’s as simple as that. They’re assholes, and you deserve to be treated better.”

His lips purse, and I don’t think he believes me.

“Okay, now I am going to get all Disney special on your ass: the only person you need to have validation from is yourself.”

“Thank you, Oprah.”

“I was going for more Dr. Phil, but I’ll take it.”

Jasper lets out a shuddery breath. “I … I don’t think I can go back in there.” He shakes his head. “This was stupid, and—”

“Do you really think they’re fucking in there?” a voice echoes from down the hall.

“Pfft, please. Fuckstain probably paid Westly Dalton to be his date. I mean, he’s Westly Dalton. If he wanted dick, Ezra Palaszczuk was his teammate. Wouldn’t Westly be with someone like that? Someone who’s not a complete loser?”

“Shit,” I hiss and then lower my voice to a whisper. “Don’t listen to them.”

Jasper’s pale blue eyes widen, and I don’t think. I just act.

I step forward and push Jasper against the locker with a loud thud. My knee goes in between his legs, and I press in close.

“What are you—”

“Just go with it,” I whisper and lower my head until our lips are a breath apart. Footsteps squeak on the tiled floor, and I bring my mouth down on his.

He’s tentative at first, but with a flick of my tongue, he opens for me and then moans into my mouth when I deepen the kiss.

I want to take away his hurt and ease the pain in his chest that’s sat there for far too long.

With my mouth, I want to show him that he’s more than who he was in high school. He’s a hardass professor at a top college, and he’s living his life happily as an out gay man.

They couldn’t break him down, and this reunion won’t either. Because I won’t allow it.

I break my lips from his and kiss down his cheek and neck.

“West,” he pants, and fuck if it isn’t the hottest sound I’ve heard in a long time. I want to make him say my name over and over again.

Briefly, I forget where we are, and it’s easy to get lost in the moment. The man can kiss.

My suit pants were already extremely tight, and now they feel like they might burst at the seams with the way my cock is jutting forward, trying to break free.

Jasper grips the back of my head and pulls me back to his mouth so we go back to kissing, only now I’m groping all of him, letting my hands wander.

This was not the plan when I decided to kiss him, but hey, why waste an opportunity?

It’s the sound of someone clearing their throat that brings me back to the present.

I pull back and try hard not to chuckle at Jasper’s swollen lips and the shock and awe on his face. I lean in and kiss the top of his nose and turn to the two assholes at the end of the corridor with a smile.

“Sorry. Got carried away. I can’t ever get enough. You probably feel the same way about your wives.”

They share a look and then awkward nods. Happy marriages by the sounds of it. Not hard to imagine what it’s like being married to these two fuckheads.

“Anyway, I think we were going to head out.” I link my fingers with Jasper’s. “Right, babe?”

“Yeah. I’m done here.”

The guys block our path. “Hey, we’re sorry if that was crossing a line in there,” Dipshit Number One says. “You know how it is being around these same people. It’s like we’re in high school again. It was wrong.”

“I’m sorry too,” the other dipshit says.

“That’s very big of you,” I say without even a hint of sarcasm. Give me a medal, please.

“Uh, listen, we were, uh, well, Shaun Gallipse is the hockey coach here now, and he said we could have access to the hockey facilities. You know, for old time’s sake, and we were wondering …”

I can barely hold in my snort of hell no. They’re only apologizing to Jasper because they want to play hockey with me.

It’s no wonder Jasper hates jocks.
