I’m a few days late with my check-in post, but that’s ok, I was so tired over the weekend I couldn’t get my brain into gear. March was a really good reading month for me, the best so far this year. I listened to 4 audiobooks and read 18 novels and 2 novellas.

I did really well with my challenges this month

The Sunday Book Club Challenge – A book with an orange cover – Dawn Skies by Suzanne Cass, A book by an author with the same first name or initials as me – Untamed by Cassie Laelyn – C. L for Claire Louisa

Dymocks Reading Challenge – Inspiring Change – I picked 2 books for this category, Wildflower by Monique Mulligan – inspiring important change in the way we look at, deal with and talk about domestic violence & Jenna’s Truth by Nadia L King – inspiring change in how we look at cyberbullying and youth suicide. Book I keep seeing – this could be a few, but I’ll go with Sledge & Claw by Jennifer Cody. Number in the title – The Seven Sisters by Lucinda Riley. Award winner – The Labyrinth by Amanda Lohrey – this won the Miles Franklin award, it was chosen by one of my book club members, I can’t say it was a winner for me though.
My Goodreads Challenge is 45/150

In other news not much has been happening, Suki is settling in better and getting more comfortable with people, & I finished off a painting I did in memory of my beautiful Cricket. I’m currently working on another on of her, but it is more scenery than Cricket.
I am currently listening to the second audiobook in the Seven Sisters series The Storm Sister, another long one about 19 hours. And I’m currently reading A Caravan Like a Canary by Sasha Wasley and Broken Things by Barbara Elsborg. I have some great books to get through during April.
Until next time, happy reading.
