The Marriage Deal by Clare Connelly was a really good read, I don’t read many sheikh romance books, but I know they are a big genre in romance novels.
Clare Connelly has created two very likeable characters in Amy and Sheikh Zahir and the situation they find themselves in seems like a straightforward business type arrangement, until it isn’t. Neither expect to like each other, especially on Amy’s part, she has always considered him the ememy, blaming him for her father’s downfall.
There were a few twists, secrets and misunderstandings uncovered and unexpected emotions and outcomes for them both. I really enjoyed this light romance, just what I needed to read.
I am an avid reader who will read just about anywhere I can. I have over 1200 books on my shelves and 700 on my kindle and a TBR pile I doubt I will ever get through. I have a preference for Australian authors, but still, read many others. I read a large variety of genres and love learning about other peoples cultures and experiences through fiction. I am an Art Therapist at Healing heART Therapy, a disability support worker, and work in a nursery. I was the Spec Fiction round-up editor for Australian Women Writers Challenge until they changed their focus this year.

Nothing like a light romance on a dull, rainy day. Curl up and enjoy!
